Location: Westpoint, GA
Salary:   $28.00/hr. - $35.00/hr.

  Perform various tool & die maintenance functions to maintain Stamping transfer dies, including providing technical support to CNC/Machining, Fabrication, and Tool & Die operations. 

• Perform maintenance on automotive dies for improving dimensional and surface quality of Stamping panels and to support Production to mass produce automobiles
• Perform a variety of mechanical functions, such as corrective and predictive maintenance on automotive dies, automation, die pneumatics, welding, etc.
• Operate large machinery such as Stamping Try-Out Press, CNC, lathe, and surface grinder, and mill, break press, straight cut shear, drill press, and TIG, MIG, ARC welders
• Repair and confirm die trim line steels, clearances, die scrap cutters, and defects such as up-dings, Downings, and flange lengths
• Troubleshoot panel formability problems while developing short term and long-term countermeasures and have a good understanding of forming die operations
• Perform die washing operations per monthly schedule
• Perform die hand grinding and stoning techniques
• Attend all required training as assigned
• Comply with and promote company practices in the areas of SQECP (Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Cost, and People)

Requirements:  

• Experience working in a Tool and Die role maintaining stamping dies utilizing techniques such as die spotting, punch fitting/entry, formability improvements and the ability to use related hand tools.
• Knowledge of sheet metal forming, trimming, piercing flanging.

Salary:   $28.85 – $37.21/hr.

Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of machine shop equipment and have at least 5 years’ experience working with manual lathes, mills, and grinders.

• Good working knowledge of all types of CNC equipment
• prior experience in assembly or fabrication work using a blueprint
• A technical degree in Machine Shop is preferred.
• Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision. 
• Applicants must be willing to work overtime including weekends and holiday when needed.

Location: Chatham, NY
Salary:  $57,000 - $78,500 

 Up to $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS! 

Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricated and repair metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinists’ hand tools by performing the following duties.

• Practical machining experience (milling, lathe turning, precision grinding and fine polishing)
• Use of various metrology equipment and documentation of results.
• Possess ability to read Mold Prints, 3D Renderings and Schematics.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Practical Injection Molding experience (address cooling, venting, and steel condition issues)
  

Requirements:

• Injection molding experience.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Two plus years of mold maintenance experience.
